2010 Festival Repertoire
Posted on March 31, 2010 | Filed Under 2010, Music
Please note that we are NOT dividing into tins/coppers/platinums/titaniums etc. for this year’s festival. We know that finances are tight, and we do not want you to have to spend your yearly budget on festival music. We ask that all choirs prepare the Massed Ringing selections, and as much of the other selections as their budget and time allows.
All titles are linked to Jeffers Handbell Supply, where you can listen to recordings and order the music.
Massed Ringing Selections
- Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken – McKechnie
Level 2+ or 3-, 3-5 octave Handbells, Brass Quintet - Standing in the Need of Prayer – Stephenson
Level 2+, 3-5 octave Handbells and Clarinet - O Sacred Head Now Wounded – Krug
Level 3, 3-5 octave Handbells - Music of the Spheres – McChesney
Level 4, 3-6 octave Handbells, Brass Quintet
OPTIONAL Selections, Varied in Difficulty
- Holy, Holy, Holy – Helman
Level 2+, 3-5 octave Handbells - On This Day Earth Shall Ring – Gramann
Level 3+, 3-5 octave Handbells - How Can I Keep From Singing – Sherman
Level 3-, 3-6 octave Handbells
